About Ellerslie, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Within the state of Georgia, the city of Ellerslie lies in Harris County and was established in 1828. With a population of around 2000 people, its area is 722 feet above sea level. It is positioned towards the north of the Atlantic Seaboard fall line, which separates the area of Georgia into the Piedmont region and the Coastal Plains. The city lies near the Alternate U.S. Route 27 and the Georgia State Route 85. These highways pass through the city from the northeast towards the southwest. They connect the city to other towns such as Columbus and Waverly Hall.
The smaller population makes it easier for newcomers and visitors to interact with the locals and get to learn about the community. Compared to crowded cities, the city of Ellerslie offers a more peaceful stay to visitors and newcomers. Visiting the Train Depot in Ellerslie can be a profound way of learning about its various restoration projects. After being relocated to the original place where it was constructed in 1891, the Train Depot was painted and renovated to include some facilities like electricity and plumbing.
However, much of the old wooden exterior has been retained to preserve its archaic beauty. It provides the perfect spot to host occasions such as weddings, parties, and dinners while the construction of a gazebo area has made it better suited to outdoor events as well.
Taking safety of residents as their first priority, the city of Ellerslie has a comprehensive fire department. It relies on the efforts of volunteers that serve to protect the families and people living in Ellerslie. Ellerslie enjoys a somewhat balanced climate since their July temperatures go up to 90.8F while winter temperatures drop to 33.7F in January. Although normally pleasant weather occurs throughout most of the year, families should still opt for good central cooling and heating systems so they stay comfortable indoors as well.
